Why is most of that bs not in the game? I play since Vanilla and if it werent for people like Pyro i wouldnt realy know what the f is going on in the lore... I aint buying books.

All of the Shadowlands lore is VERY interesting and leans to some really great storytelling potential. Unfortunately it just was not played out or delivered well. We needed the DF content cadence at least to be able to tell the story coherently, or have some setup even before Shadowlands.

I get that people did not like Shadowlands and overall it seems to have been a miss step by Blizzard. But to say that Blizzard is going to ignore the lore from SL, is just insane and makes no sense.

Trying to find hidden secrets in art and speculate symbology, when they didn't even bother to proof read it.. The release on Chronicles vol 4 in this state really took the wind out of my lore enthusiast sails :( I have this feeling that we get exited and see things that are not even there. That we attribute value to things that the story writers don't even care about. Hope you will keep going.

If Azeroth is Creation, that gives me serious "Triat" type of balance vibes within the cosmic order, that being Order, Chaos and Entropy. There is supposed to be a Titan for all of the cosmic orders, one for each. And for every force, there is supposed to be a counter-balance force. There is also supposed to be an Eternal One per cosmic force. Same with the Fel, same with the others. This gives the cosmic order the full range of cosmic magic in order to fulfill the tasks of Creation as ordered by Azeroth (in the organization sense, not the "I order you to..." sense). There is light and dark to illuminate things. There is life and death. There is order and chaos. All of the things needed to create a living universe where nothing is permanent in the "Reality" that is where we all go to play. Life evolves (Fel + Life), Life dies (Life + Death), Life is a unique thing (Life + Void). My guess is that Aman'thul as the Titan of Order despises anything to do with Fel, Void and Death on spec. But he also despised Life as being far too disordered and unpredictable. He loves Light because there is the "my way or the highway" with Light and orthodoxy. They get along decently, it would seem. But not the others. There is probably a Light Lord of Order who we will meet soon. That's my guess, anyway.

The new Arbiter (post-Zovaal pre-Pelagos) has no compassion, becausewhoever rebuilt the arbiter clearly did not go to Zereth Mortis to reconstruct it. Let me quote the description of the Protype Pantheon from Supulcher of the First Ones: "Bereft of the cosmic spirits of the Eternal Ones, these incomplete host bodies can only carry out their base directives without MERCY or COMPASSION" IMO this is direct proof that when they imprisoned Zovaal, they just created a replacement that did not contain a cosmic soul (the cosmic soul specifically of an "Eternal One", whatever that means). Why? Probably external intervention, remember the quote "DEATH WAS NEVER SUPPOSED TO BE CHAINED". The Titans very likely could have interferred in the shadowlands and created a new Arbiter without caring about infusing it with a cosmic soul. But why? I actually do not know.

The Arbiter being remade without compassion making it so that all souls only get send to the 4 covenants instead of the afterlife where they belong.

Seat of the Pantheon is the Heart of the Elune'Ehir (or a World Tree that pre-dates and or surpasses it.... regardless i think its a World Tree Heart

So I have an idea. I think there is something important that we might be overlooking when it comes to mists of pandaria remix. Now I understand they may have just brought it back for a fun leveling experience and to relive that expansion. But if we put our tin foil hats on, the real reason they brought back mop was so we play through the campaign once again and relearn something and possibly make some connections to the war within. Because if you haven’t realized yet, all wow expansions mirror each other in some way. To kinda elaborate on this theory look at each expansion starting with vanilla. The expansion that mirrors it the most is wod (I know what your thinking but just hear me out) so vanilla we deal with old gods and some burning legion but mainly we are hangingout with are friends from warcraft 3. In wod we literally go back in time and chill with our friends from warcraft 3 and make some new friends while also taking care of old/new enemies. burning crusade mirrors legion, i dont think i need to explain this one. now bfa and shadowlands both mirror wotlk. overall theme of wotlk was death and the scourge, but we dived deep af into ulduar and learned that yogg saron lives. we defeat an old god, then marched our happy asses to icc and kicked deaths face in with tirion fordring. sounds very similar to endings of both bfa and shadowlands. which brings me to dragonflight. the ending cinematic of cata was the dragon aspects losing their powers, while dragonflights cinematic is legit opposite of that. now you can make more connections if you want between each expansion. but with that being said, mists story about y'shaarj is extremely important lore for this upcoming expansion. what is there that we can learn from? idk yet, hopefully pyro or someone can help.

Might be completely wrong (not followed too much lore and had major breaks from wow) but i feel that Azeroth could be a titan or entity of 'war' or 'conflict' considering what it has been surrounded by for so long

looking at each of the 6 corners of the elements, you have The Titans, The Wild Gods, The Eternal Ones The Burning Legion, The Old Gods and The Naaru (And in turn the Void lords?) all as Equals. which to me, feels like a much better explanation, that 1 party being stronger than the other if All of the forces of each party, were to meet.. Basicly, If all of each force were to meet on the battlefield, they'd Equal eachother out, and it'd end up with basicly, the destruction of the universe.. I dont believe that 1 force alone, could bring the end of the universe. It'll take the combined forces, unless done by who or whatever created it in the first place. (Which we are lead to believe would be Azeroth, yet Strangely enough she's not a part of the cosmology map at this given point, unless Azeroth simply is Reality.

Shadowlands is, like it or not, canon at this point. It exists. Now, if Blizzard wants to revisit it and do changes, or take us back there (like we did Remix) and change some of the lore with someone like the lorewalker showing us where the changes are, until then it's canon. And we move on with the story. Remember, not all stories tell everything the first time, or the first reading. Nuances don't show up at times until further in the series or when a character rewalks the lands. To just dismiss it as "not relevant to anything" is to miss the points that were made within the stories and to deny any furthering of the story begun in those past stories. It's also highly arrogant to say that you, the player, know more than those who wrote the story and know where it's going. Things could change, a character could come back and set the record straight, but until then, we go with what we've seen and experienced and let the thing unfold. I like Bellular but on this one, I think he's wrong.

They are surrounded from every side and i think the star is a false sense of safety. Only when everyone is totally blindsided the light could backstab when everyone is on their weakest.

It really pissed me off when bellular disregarded SL entirely, just made me want to ignore everything else he said

I played for every second of shadowlands and the lore in the shadowlands cannot be undone at this point. The first ones are referenced in Dragonflight. Its pretty clear with chronicle 4 talking about them as a myth that statement is from the titan's perspective.

So dissapointed they didnt just burn all of the Shadowlands Lore... Damn that shit is so bad it ruins everything.

Iridikron stated that he is after the power to defeat the Titans.......like it wasn't even allusion. He tells us that when they come to reclaim their prize, he'llbe waiting and he'll be ready. I think, like with all things tho, good ole xal is manipulating him as well. He's far too driven by an extremely relatable reason. His resolve to destroy them for the ordering of his brethren I believe makes him easy to manipulate. It has the makings of a good baddy. I don't want power for me, I want it for a goal. Make the primalists great again. Makes him relatable even if it is in essence revenge adjacent. I hope it goes into something along the lines of he has postulated or maybe xal has convinced him that you can't actually like destroy the titans perse, like their essence, but maybe you can consume or imprison them within an endless void type thing using this all consuming entropic all are one power thing and maybe that's the only way to permanently beat them. Idk could go a lot of ways, but I agree with the Pyro, he's not out to fight the void, his goal is to get rid of the Titans in the most permanent way he can find and I think xal convinced him that galakronds hunger void thing is the only way, also playing into the idea that the titans are alledgedly "scared" of only 1 thing and that was the rise of a void lord in this plane of existence. I mean someone might have convinced/ dominated Sargeras of the same thing maybe once upon a time. Not too far fetched

WoW is now like Diablo, old beaten enemies just keep coming back.

The only race that really hasn't had much of a showdown at all is the naga, like I want Azshara to actually be a proper evil and not whatever we got previously

I came to wow from wc3 and frozen throne during wrath because i saw lich king on the game cover. And because of that nostalgia i wanted to defeat illidan and LK. And never i thought LK was part of legion. It seemed at the end of warcraft 3 but that cleared during FT

How about instead of going higher we go lower. More of World RPG. How about they revamp old world and give us opportunity for Classic like adventures. How about instead of zooming with flying we go back to roads villages towns dealing with local treats like organized thugs, gnolls, ogres, pirates, zombies, witches earing our gold and fame by dealing with them, customizing our mounts and "player homes" like we do with transmog cosmetics?

I'm a little surprised by what you had to say in the first pause - maybe it's just my perspective as someone who played Warcraft 3 first and then each expansion up to Wrath, but I didn't think anyone thought the Scourge under Arthas was working with the Legion. The only time the Legion really showed up was when Mal'ganis appeared in a late quest and basically said he would be there to take revenge on Arthas for 'betraying' him (and then never showed up again). Did people really think Wrath was a Legion-related expansion?

The old knowledge(pre shadowlands) is that the scourge was ruled by the Ner'zhul lich king, who had his soul tortured and ripped from his body and trapped in ice crown by Kil'jaeden. and that they only ever worked with the legion while Ner'zhul was trying to plot his revenge against Kil'jaeden .

I agree with the change in "Relic grind" because while we had a cool and fun Questline in ARR and HW the "Relic Grind" in EW was boring as fuck! You literally just walk from A to B and get your Upgrade while ARR was still kinda fun, tedious as fuck but still fun! I loved the ARR Relic grind just as much as I hated it tbh XD
